This item worked perfectly for our situation. We had an endpoint well over 300ft away, so we ran Cat6 to the converter, and ran the remaining length with OM3 MMF out to the endpoint. The unit powered right up, negotiated at the intended 1Gb/Full Duplex, and has remained connected with no packet loss. Excellent solution for very cheap!

Good product, works as described.

I used these to isolate my ham radio equipment electrically from my network equipment. I had lost two ports due to close lightning hits. I couldnt use wi-fi as I needed the speed. These have worked perfectly.

Converted ethernet drop to fiber (Single Mode) from one location to another and back to ethernet. Worked great and felt pretty solid.
