few years back I was using some small media converters like these and if it got too warm or over used they needed to be restarted. These work non-stop and perform as specd. Would recommend if you have a hot location to place, though they are not IP rated for outdoor contact they are surviving quite well in hot communication box without issues at all.

Works well and much cheaper than other branded stuff does the job just as well.

Worked fine at end of 80ft OM3 MMF aqua LC LC run. Inexpensive option for connecting a fiber run to a device that does not have its own SFP port.

Installed the for a Ethernet circuit extension and worked perfectly.

The unit turns hot. If you turn it off and on the connection stability is not guaranteed. I switched to tplink which is little pricey but very sturdy and durable. This unit is 5v versus tplink is 9v DC which matters when it comes to hi resolution audio files.

This is a very reliable product. Used to provide connection for 4 high mega-pixel ip cameras back to NVR. Has been in place for 6 months with zero problems and is providing a constant data stream.

Extended home network to garage. Works great.
