The first cable I purchased from Twinax should have been about 1.5M and it definitely wasnt. It was definitely shorter. I returned that cable and exchanged it with a 2.5M cable. This cable was the right length but already were not off to a great start. This cable claims to work with Ubiquiti network switches and other network gear. I recently installed a TRENDnet 10 Gigabit PCIe SFP+ Network Adapter and originally thought after connecting this cable to it and to my 48 port 750W Ubiquiti switch that it might be the TRENDnet NIC. I thought it might be a faulty driver as the network connection kept dropping sometimes every few seconds. My suspicion that it was the cable came after I verified the NIC was connected into the PCIe slot correctly and re-seated the SFP+ cable. The connection was a bit more stable but still kept dropping connection every minute or so. I finally decided to purchase another SFP+ cable (Macroreer for Ubiquiti 10G SFP+ DAC 2m Direct Attach Copper Cable Passive (Blue)) Ive used this cable brand and type before to link my UDM Pro with my 48 port switch with absolutely zero issues. Now that the Macroreer cable is installed Ive had zero issues with connections dropping. I am now returning this cable from Twinax. I do not recommend this cable with a similar setup as mine.

Expensive cable, but it does the trick. Seems to be quite durable given that I accidentally installed it improperly when I first got it. I also accidentally crushed it with the server (weighing about 100 pounds) but the cable still works perfectly!

Using these to connect Cisco C220m4s to Cisco switch in my data center. Have used other 10Gtek SFP cable in the past as switch uplinks. They always work perfectly.

Recently built a storage server for my video production company. I attached 2 editing bays to the storage server via 10Gtek SFP cabling. Read / Write performance has been stellar.

Works well on my 10G network between my NAS and switch and between my PC and switch.

Connected my D-Link DGS-1210-10P just fine (1 Gb/s Full Duplex, that is the max for the port).

Does everything its supposed to. 10G speeds between 2 Mellanox SFP+ cards. Quality is up there with the best DAC cables, and i have no questions this cable will last for a very very long time.

This product is a 10GB/sec SFP+ to SFP+ optical patch cable. I put one end of it into my Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Infinity and the other end into my Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 48 Lite. It worked. What else is there to say?
