> 3 dayWas having problems with separate cables + transceivers (most likely the cable) - and when I switched to this integrated fiber SFP+ - xfers immediately jumped to expected levels.

> 3 dayUsed it to connect a Ubiquiti UDM Pro SE SFP+ port to a downstream Unifi switch with another SFP+ port. Been running at a solid 10GBps for about a month, and the cable is nice and short to make things tidy. Price is right and does what it should.

> 3 dayCheaper and functional solution to a SFP+ Transceiver / cat 7 cable, with the added bonus of lower power comsumption. This cable is used to connect a PC workstation with a 10Gtek X520-10G-1S NIC (Intel 82599 chipset) to a Netgear MS510TX switch. The solution works and have a reliable 10 Gb/s network link.

> 3 dayI bought Mellanox switches (and cables) and wanted to connect our Cisco Catalyst 3750-X stack (12.5X firmware) using the C3KX-NM-10G modules. The Mellanox cables would not work and a Cisco TAC case told me to try a different type of cable. We tried the undocumented commands to disable HCL checks on the transceivers but it was still failing. I found these and ordered 4 to test. The part number I searched for and ordered (SFP-H10GB-CU3M) was not the same as what was on the items shipped, but I assumed they were compatible so I tried it. Worked perfectly.

> 3 dayThis DAC cable worked as advertised, I’m getting 10Gbps with no issues. It’s a solid cable and I really like how easy it is to remove from an SFP+ port. I will most likely buy again if I ever need more.

> 3 dayUsing these to connect Cisco C220m4s to Cisco switch in my data center. Have used other 10Gtek SFP cable in the past as switch uplinks. They always work perfectly.

06-06-2025I used these cables to connect several HP DL380 Gen9 and Gen10 servers to a Cisco 4500 X switch. Everything works fine and no problems have occurred so far.

> 3 dayYou could spend a ton of money on a name-brand version of this cable, but theres really no need. I was surprised at the high quality and superior construction of this cable at such a low price. Its working perfectly, and Im confident itll stay working for years.

> 3 dayI set up an enterprise VMware environment at home for certification purposes as well as keeping my skills fresh and keeping my thumb on the pulse of technology. Doing so, a 10Gb network is a must and you need to source cables somewhere. Angry at myself for throwing out 60 or so of these cables at my job 2 years ago, I had to buy some.. and they arrived fast and definitely work great. The only thing to be aware of is that the pull tabs to release the cable dont all work properly. Its a well known fact that you sometimes have to push the cable in while pulling the tab to release it, but that trick doesnt work here. You have to use a paperclip to slide into the slot carefully release it. For that reason, and only that reason alone I have to take away a star.

Greater than one weekI really like 10Gtech brand lately. First choice when available. Great pricing, though increasing lately.
