Easy to install worked well for fixing my Christmas blow up

These are just great for making things easier, makes using 12v bricks easy to connect to breadboards and adding easy to use connectors to random supplies.

I used these when I modernized my 20 year old camera system. The new cameras were plug and play. I had camera low voltage line ran through the roofing system when the house was built. I added one of these to the camera end. Then another one at the power end. Both connections fit perfect. Best part was, I didn’t have to run any new wire.

The 10x male and female 5.5mm/2.1mm connectors are exactly what I needed. I used these for a 12V lighting project and the 18AWG wire I used fit into the terminals with no problem. Stranded 16AWG will fit as well. These appear to be well built and made of good quality materials.

These connectors work well with one exception. It may be of my own doing, but the screws at the wire terminals did not hold the wire well when tightened. I had to really torque down on the screw, and/or re-strip and reinsert the wire a few times before I had a good, tight connection. That could just be the wire I was using, or something else. Anyway, that was my experience.

It was what I was looking for

A lot of my devices are 12v anyway, and using these in the RV allow me to wire them directly to the DC power supply instead of wasting overhead on DC inverter to AC just to go back to DC. I bought two sizes to ensure I got the right fit. Worked perfectly, nice snug fit.
