i use these for testing circuits on automobile and they work well

Cheap junk. Clips require excessive force to open and cant be opened enough to go on a 1/4 bolt. Cheap quality wire too. Listing implies far better quality than this. I very seldom take advantage of Amazon returns but this is an exception.

The cord is very suppel and the alligator clips very firm. Great value.

Im not quite certain what I was expecting, but these are better than I expected (if that makes any sense). They are very well made, sturdy, and should be durable. They fit my needs perfectly (jumping & charging motorcycle batteries). Im happy to own them.

I used these to connect to the battery tender wires that i have permanently connected to my battery on one end and my removed electric radiator fans on the other end. This was so i could test the electric radiator fans to be working when 12v sent to them i.e. i used them as test leads for electric parts for my car. Worked well for that.
