Cheap junk. Clips require excessive force to open and cant be opened enough to go on a 1/4 bolt. Cheap quality wire too. Listing implies far better quality than this. I very seldom take advantage of Amazon returns but this is an exception.

Just works fine, is sturdy and clips hold securely.

Used these to crank my motorcycle over with plugs removed and need to ground the plugs out so coil wouldnt put a high voltage to the plugs when it wouldnt start. Worked perfectly. They are pretty tight to open the jaws up, but they are also brand new and I want them to latch on to the stud/bolt whatever tightly. Someone mentioned these were junk because they were hard to open up, and another that they couldnt use them to jump start a car, that is not at all what these are intended to do. They are test leads and they do what they are designed to do, period.

What I like about these leads is that the insulation material is flexible and rubbery, not plasticky and stiff. This makes the leads easy to manipulate, because you can rearrange the lead cable without pulling the entire circuit.
