Got this for convenience. Use my work laptop in office and at home. Wanted to have power supplies ready to go at both locations so I dont have to reach behind my desk every time to plug in. Have a third in my laptop bag for mobile use. They all work great and have no issues.

When you are getting a new laptop charger it is expected that they work right out of the box, and this one does that. This is a Lenovo Rectangle yellow tip charger, a VERY common newer standard, used on most recent Lenovo laptops, monitors and even all in one computers. This charger is 170W which means it will be able to give the juice to almost anything out there, even the most demanding all in one computer or gaming laptop. It will basically run anything that needs a lenovo rectangle yellow tip jack even the most powerful computer or docking station. Having an extra charger is really good. You can keep one in the main place you use your laptop and keep your original in the laptop bag so you don’t have to wrap it up when you need to go mobile. I keep one plugged in by the sofa in the living room, where I sit and surf while watching TV, but my original one is in my laptop bag…. It is always better to get a charger that is designed for your laptop. Those universal chargers are a bad idea, they can put out different voltages and can harm your computer, also the interchangeable tips have a lot of issues. When you buy a charger there are three things you need to look for. 1. Tip, make sure the tip is exactly the side and length you want. 2. Make sure the voltage is exactly correct. If you laptop wants 19V then feed it 19V, more or less could cause damage. 3. Make sure the watts are more than enough. If your laptop calls for 65W it is OK and actually better to feed it more watts. It will only feed your laptops what it can handle. The main drawback to a charger with more watts is that it is bigger and heavier. If you get a charger that is smaller it will charge slower and may not even charge at all. Most gaming laptops need much more power than standard chargers and this 170W AC charger is enough to charge 99% of all Lenovo rectangle tip laptops out there.

Ive been wanting an extra charging adapter for my Lenovo laptop for a while. I work with my laptop outside of the house at least two days a week and if I manage to forget my charger at home Im basically SOL. My laptop is a gaming laptop and the battery only lasts for about 2 hours, and thats if I have all of the power saving settings maxed out. With a second adapter I can have one that lives at my desk at home and one that lives in my backpack for travel. This adapter had been successfully powering my laptop for the last 24 hours and my laptop had made no complaints so far. This matches the input and output stats of my original charging brick, so this is a winner in my book. *Worth noting that this is not advertised for my 2018 Lenovo Legion laptop, but the plug in the charger fits perfectly and the input and output stats are identical to the original.

Nice long cord length, no issues with my trusty P50 and mine is the one with the xeon processor and Nvidia graphics, pulls a good amount of power and this adapter seems to work identical to the OEM.

I have worked from home since the pandemic. Recently, I have had to go into the office to take care of some changes. I brought my laptop but it was such a pain to unplug the power cord and untangle it from behind my desk. One of the times I forgot to pack up my power cord to bring it back home. I live about 45 miles from work. Buying this power supply was a lifesaver. No more crawling under the desk to get a cord.

Equivalent to the Lenovo charger recommended for my P15 ThinkPad. Provides me with an extra charger for travel so I dont have to disconnect the one that I use with my port replicator at home. Fits and works just like the Lenovo OEM version.

This powerful 170w charger is working great for my Lenovo workstation. No issues with warnings that its not working. Charges just as fast as the OEM one. No issues and would purchase again.

I picked up an old Lenovo T 450 as refurbished. Since Im not a gamer all I basically need is a reliable well-made home base computer. The t 450 originally came out 6-7 years ago. Its all I need. I always get a backup power supply to have in case earlier ones become hard to find. This is a good solid unit and it will serve me well.
