I dont use my Thinkpad P50 as much since getting a new job with a more powerful/modern laptop, but its still around for some consulting work and occasional use in my workshop. I wanted to have a spare adapter in the workshop for the times I want to use the bigger screen and my software load on this system over there. It does what it says it does, keeps the p50 going with 64GB RAM and an extra SSD, and I have no complaints.

I have worked from home since the pandemic. Recently, I have had to go into the office to take care of some changes. I brought my laptop but it was such a pain to unplug the power cord and untangle it from behind my desk. One of the times I forgot to pack up my power cord to bring it back home. I live about 45 miles from work. Buying this power supply was a lifesaver. No more crawling under the desk to get a cord.
