I purchased this kit for gunsmithing, very easy easy to use in combination with my Dremel with a ton of sanding discs choices.

I used this to repair an apple watch 3. The deep scratches are gone, but some scuffing remains.

I got this for my rotary tool and its making sanding down 3d prints so much easier than by hand. It already fits the standard collet and it comes with a soft pad attachment. A must get tool for your 3d prints.

Before I leapt into another several hundreds of dollars’ worth of replacement headlight assemblies (2009 Camry) I decided to grind these down again and this time clear coat them. The last time I tried this I used a package restoration kit that had only two grits of pads and a hand tool. The assemblies were oxidized so badly it was not safe to drive at night with just the low beams on as the plastic was too crudded up. Using my electric DA with a 3” backing pad I started with 800 grit, spending some time grinding them down. I sprayed them down with Purple Power to clean them very well, then moved to the 1k grit. In between grits I washed and kept the lens moist with distilled water. From 1K I progressed up: 2K, 3K, 5K, 7K, 10K. By the time I hit 10k the lenses were looking pretty good. Finishing them with a plastic polisher (PlastX) and buffing pad they really shined. In the pictures you can see each side before and after the progress ending with the plastic polisher. The final picture is after the first heavy coat of clear sprayed onto it. Using the same pads I am polishing up the coats of clear until I get to the final product. The pads are holding up great in all this water. I keep the DA at a low speed. Great investment, these pads.

I ordered this set on Tuesday and it arrived on Thursday. I put it to immediate use. Fantastic product! I did bend the shaft on the mandrel, though. That was my fault because I had my rotary tool on too fast a setting. The sandpaper disks last a long time and the Velcro on the pad is quite strong. Yeah, I definitely recommend this product.

Great idea, but the sanding papers will just fly off of the Velcro without warning. Can’t use the softer sponge because as soon as the Dremel makes 20 or so rotations, it flies off of the yellow attachment. This defeated the purpose of what I puches
