> 24 hourThe clamping punch works well on .700 or 1/2 inch tubing but foes not cut through 1/4 inch. The hand held cutting is deformed and cuts 90 to 95 percent leaving a chad holding the cutout. UPdate the clamping punch will not punch the oval .700 tubing

> 24 hourClamping punch is really slick. Has a removable insert to accommodate variable distribution hose diameters. Has compartment in handle for small connectors. Push punch works well. Has cut out in handle for pushing drip hose and fitting into distribution hose.

> 24 hourThis hole punch could not have been easier to use. I never used the 2nd tool but its nice to have it on hand if necessary. Overall, this was a valuable purchase at great price.

> 24 hourDon’t wast your money. The punch did not work AT ALL. The other piece, used to install drippers, worked well for about 10 drippers, then deformed. It is also useless now.

> 24 hourI did about 100 of the 1/4 inch connections. Never used the hole puncher. I was inserting the coupler (using another tool) straight into the 1/2 inch tube. There is absolutely no need to punch a hole first. Therefore the hole puncher was never used. The other curved tool, the one with a metal stud at one end was used, almost for all 1/4 inch connections. I used it to insert and rotate inside the 1/4 tube just to flare it a little bit and that made insertions into the 1/4 inch tube really easy, even for this old gardener. No need for heat gun or hot water like some of the suggestions I had read. The tube needs to be flared. You can do that with this tool. You can also do it with a phillips screw driver!

> 24 hourAs Ive aged I find my hand have become weaker and changing out or adding micro-irrigation has become difficult for me. This looked like a handy tool that would make it easier; however that hasnt proven to be the case. It is almost impossible to get the 1/4 tubing to stay in place on the tool in order to add another dripper to the 1 tubing. Guess Ill keep looking for something that works.
