> 3 dayI have a 35 yo starett brand. Sharp hardened point. These are dull. Will turn them on my grinder to a point for steel. Will dent aluminum and wood. Take apart and grease with silicone if having problems. Price point tells it all

> 3 dayI bought these for my co-workers as an Xmas present. For the price they are nice durable punches and come with spare punch heads.

> 3 dayThis thing did not work right straight out of the box. The only reason it even got 2 stars is because I was able to use parts from this to fix my old one. The little piece inside with the hole in it that makes the whole thing function is so soft it dents in immediately and wont function.

Greater than one weekPretty decent definitely more than expected for the price. They have worked well for my use so far and the extra pair of tips is a nice addition. Probably not made for daily shop use but an avid DIYer these seem great so far.

> 3 dayI ordered 2 center punches that appeared the same on the Amazon website. This one was substantially cheaper, and now I know why. After testing both center punches on a sheet of plywood, this one stopped working after 3 punches. It lacks the spring power needed to make a dimple in relatively soft wood, so I am certain it would never leave any mark on hardwood or metals as it should. There are other options available, so I recommend choosing one of those over this one.
