> 3 dayThese wire wheels work well on a drill or in a drill press, but the relatively slow speed of a drill, and therefore slow speed of progress in removing rust, would lead me to use another tool if possible. These small brushes could be handy for hard-to-reach situations when it is not possible to either bring the work piece to a wire wheel on a bench grinder or reach the work area with a wire brush on an angle grinder. In a high-speed hand air tool, a small wire wheel like this would work much better than on a drill.

> 3 dayBoth brushes in the package appear to be the same grit. The wire is stiff and strong enough for aggressive jobs. The wires appear to stay on while grinding (or not fall off), which is a good sign. It seems well made.

16-11-2024Small diameter and very stiff bristles, but there are times where they might work better than larger wheels. If youre only going to have one wire wheel though, a brass 4- or 5-inch wheel would be an all-around better choice.

> 3 dayBought the 2 pack Wire Wheel Brush for my own use as Grandpas are too hard for me to find when I want to use them. The brushes cleaned up the rusty, overpainted metal legs on the table frames I wanted to repurpose. Easy to use, just wear your gloves and eye protection. Trust Nana on this one.

> 3 dayThese do too well if you are careful. One needs to be gentle when, say trying to remove paint from metal. Wood? Not so sure what to say. Plus, they do a good job sticking my fingers when holding them. Need them though.

> 3 dayWas able to use to strip the paint and bit of corrosion off my wrought iron fence. Was able to use for several hours before I notice any wear of the bristles. Even then, I was tired lone before the brush. My drill went through a few battery lifes also. I was able to do about a 10 x 4 section with vertical slates before tossing the first wheel.

> 3 dayI am restoring an antique cast iron dinner bell that has sat outside for about a century and then in a barn. I needed something to take all the rust and stuff off of it. These work great for that purpose. It is a large bell and 2 of these were perfect.
