These would be great for applying lipstick with precision. The size of the head is compact and tight. I actually bought them to bring more precision to applying nail powders in a manicure. They are going to be AMAZING for that, allowing me to distribute powder to the very edge of the nail all around without getting it all over the cuticles like the sponges that are most often used do. Really good value for the price!
