Works very well and does all I need it to.

After 1.5 years, I just bought its replacement.

Fast startup and loading.

When the computer arrived we unpacked it. Came back later to set up and found the cord missing. Thought maybe like printers, it doesnt come with. So I left a three star rating. Then the seller connected and said it did come with and it was misplaced on our end when unpacking. So sorry for that initial bad review. I like the computer. Great value and these days thats what we hope for.

I had this computer for 5 months when it started falling apart. The top of the lid began separating from the bottom of the lid and one of the hinges broke. It was still under warranty, so I sent the computer to their repair center in Texas. Shipping and insurance cost $80. Got it back 3 weeks later. Seemed fine. But in two weeks, the exact same thing happened in the same spot that had been repaired. Called Acer. The told me to send it back at my own expense and theyd repair it. I told them they hadnt repaired it properly and what they needed to do was send me a replacement computer and a prepaid mailing label so I could return the broken one. They are taking that under consideration and promised to get back to me. I will update this review when they do.

Computer stopped working about a month before the warranty expired. It would not turn out at all. Sent it in for warranty repair and they claimed it was water damage. I dont take the laptop anywhere. I put it in a safe place when not in use. Went on Reddit and saw threads discussing this issue. This is my 3 and last laptop Ill buy from Acer!

Bought this laptop six months ago and noticed almost a month or two after that the bezel was coming loose from the monitor. Now it has completely come undone on one side and wires have gotten loose. I suspect the monitor will be black before long. My advice, dont purchase this product. It is made of cheap plastic and clearly not built to last up to a year unless it is being used extremely sparingly

TouchPad would take quite a few times to register that my finger was on it. Would have to lift my finger and try to touch it again for it to register. Happened consistently. Also did this weird thing with the screen brightness where if you go to a dark page and then a white page the brightness would take awhile to adapt. Ended up returning it cause tech support hung up on me and there were no alternatives

Numeric keypad periodically doesnt work. The computer keypad also has stopped working once.
