2023 SDHC Wood Version Plus Card with 32GB TF SD Card for DS DSI 2DS 3DS NDS, No Game timebomb

This has been a fantastic purchase. The R4 card has made my DS Lite useful again. Ive played it more in the last 3 days than the last 3 years. One note: use the D-Pad to navigate the folders and launch items instead of the touchscreen. Using the touchscreen is a bit glitchy and jumpy.

This does not play 3DS games, despite having that in the description on Amazon. Only Original DS games, NES, GBA, GBC, and NEOGEO games. It comes with a good 200+ Roms and Rom Hacks. Literally, Plug and Play. If you are lazy and just want a few games, easy peasy. Comes packed. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Games: · DS Emulation is good! Flawless so far. Ive not seen any slowdown. It feels like you are just playing a normal cart. · NES Emulation is lackluster. Ive had some slowdown, visual glitching and audio glitching on some games. Smaller NES games like Pac-Man work great. But, games like Mario have Audio and Visual Glitches. · GBA/GBC Emulation is great! I have only seen one flaw, with 128k saves being strange. Some ROM hacks not working, and a flickering at the very bottom of the screen. Other than that. Amazing. Its nice to play ROM hacks on the go. · NEOGEO emulation does not work. Its mostly unplayable. Ive attempted to play around 3 games, none worked. I have not tried them all. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ · Theme Customization is easy and straightforward. I did get locked out of editing the themes by opening safe mode. Do not turn on safe mode. · Adding a theme is straightforward. Just drag and drop. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Been using R4 since the DSi. Overall, Im very happy with my purchase! There are definite flaws, but Im sure theyll be patched with the free kernel patches on the front of the card.

Was advertised as having preloaded games. This is just an empty sd card with homebrew installed

Just what I needed to add capability to my ds. Just plug and play. So easy.

Can play homebrew programs and other legal backups I have very well. The SD card feels and looks like a cheap knockoff.

Very nice and easy to use. However two of the pre-loaded roms pokemon Black 2 and white 2you get while they boot and play normally doesnt allow for exp gains for battles. A mild inconvenience but all the other ds roms work as intended.

No setup needed at all. The files to run on your system are put on there already as well as nearly 1000 games already preloaded. 5/5 10/10
