Beautiful, sturdy umbrella. Got lots of compliments. Great value for the price.

I purchased this for my daughter who identifies as part of and supports LGTBQ+ people. She really wanted a rainbow umbrella. This does not fold down compact. Its almost five feet tall and does not collapse. That said, it has at least twice as many supports in the canopy of the umbrella as any other I could examine. I found other rainbow umbrellas at less cost but they clearly were not as well made. We have serious wind gusts here in the Portland area and I also wanted something which would stand up to those for her. This wont leave room for her friends to walk next to her umbrella on a standard sidewalk but they can stand under it with her and comfortably walk together. Its wide enough to cover two people comfortably, three if not moving fast or at all and standing very close together. Shes had no issues with the umbrella trying to take flight or invert in the wind gusts as the collapsing umbrellas always do. She took an extra step, at my recommendation, to spray the topside of the umbrella fabric with shoe water repellant to make doubly sure she stayed dry. We also have brief, heavy rainfalls where the streets flood temporarily...not typical rainfall so an extra layer of protection was a good thing. I definitely recommend this umbrella in this or whatever hue you prefer. Its very well made and in a pinch can double as a defense weapon possibly. Unlike most umbrellas today, this one curves straight down, ending about the waist area, rather than ending out at a declining angle making slanted rainfall pelt away at your as if you had no umbrella at all. As I said, this is a well-made umbrella.

I twirld it at pride!

Ive been using this for over a year for sun protection. Its been wonderful! Easy to open and close, puts up with 10 mph winds. I get complemented on this frequently when Im on my walks. The wrist strap came off in the first week because of the pathetic jump ring holding it on, but it can be easily re-attached with a stronger jump ring (or something else!).

This umbrella is absolutely gorgeous. It’s nice and big and I love the little detail of the plastic cover over the metal piece that closes it. I can’t wait to use it at pride!!

Good product

I use this umbrella while supervising children on the playground. It has good size coverage and also makes it easy for the students to know where I am. Does well on windy days too.

Its great for hot days in the park as I use it to give my dog some shade.
