3-PACK - Aurifil A1050-2600 Mako Cotton Thread Solid 50WT 1422Yds Dove

This is my go-to thread for all my quilting piecework and any basic seam work for face masks, sewing projects. I can then reserve my matched colored thread for exterior stitching, quilt designs, or zigzag embellishments.

I use this thread for quilting for all of the scenes. It’s a neutral color I can use it for black fabric so I can use it for white fabrics it’s hidden in the seams if it does show through its neutral.

Aurifil thread is my go to brand for sewing, this light gray color is a great neutral to use in a lot of my quilting and piecing. Spools last a long time, but three pack price could not be beat.

I love this brand. The gray doesnt doesnt draw your attention to it to scream Im not matching my fabric.

I am a devoted quilter, and this thread is the best I’ve ever used. The dove-grey is a perfect neutral color for piecing. Worth the money.

My complaint is that for some reason, the thread is not evenly wound on the spool so it tends to not wind well on the bobbin. So is this not a good way to buy this thread? I thought this Aurifil thread was one of the best threads to use for quilting needs.

Quilting

Aurifil thread runs smoothly in my sewing machine with relatively little lint. Gray or a neutral color is my choice for piecing because it tends to blend. It really makes a difference when sewing-no breakage.
