This is a better idea than the thin mesh we had from a previous product. These are solid and fit properly, and the suction cup has a little extra raise to be a proper fit for the standard kitchen sink.

Got this product because of the beveled edge. My sink does not have a garbage disposal and my previous sink strainer would always somehow lift up and let all the food bits go down. This strainer actually stays in place and catches all the bigger stuff. Also love how the strainer cup is made of steel and not that wire mesh so it’s easy to clean and holds its shape.

This purchase comes with 2 strainers and 1 silicone type round matt with a little handle made into the middle of it. I have probably a half dozen sink strainers under my sink in the cupboard. We could never get them to hold water in the sinks. My wife would get so mad. By chance I happen to see this product and saw all the reviews. Between all the great reviews and the inexpensive price I decided to give a try. I bought one. It works fantastic. No complaints from my wife. I ordered another one for the other sink. Hopefully all is well now. The metal strainers seem to be made of a light material but its not they actually hold a ton of weight on them or anything, Since I ordered this twice now I also have an extra set of strainers. I would recommend this product for sure !
