Decided to try this because it was different. My stainless was older & wasnt holding water. I thought about it for a while & thought I can go ahead & purchase it since I will be able to return if it doesnt hold water. My metal strainers were no longer holding water at all. Just tested the new strainer. it out & it is the BEST strainer/sink stopper. My metal strainers started leaking so I decided to try something new. It is Awesome. The stopper does not leak at all. Its simple to put on & simple to remove.

It works fine on my kitchen sink, which has a slightly bigger than normal drain. It should work on standard-sized drains as well. Others have complained that the stopper is easy to dislodge from the drain accidentally. I find that if you leave the strainer under the stopper, it works better that way. With the strainer underneath, the stopper isnt going anywhere.

I got the standard sink stopper/strainer from the dollar store. The stopper is too small for my sink and water would leak. These fit perfectly. I have one on both sides of my sink now and the stopper on top works very well!
