So I am infatuated with Tie Dying shirts and actually make one almost daily. My normal supplier Dharma was out of some of the colors I needed so I thought I would give this Vanstek a try...HUGE HUGE MISTAKE. The Dyes BARELY held on the shirts and the ones that did were so faded and lack luster they looked horrible. Keep in mind 3 of these shirts were orders for me ( yes, I am trying to make a career out of my creations) I was so embarrassed by the end products that I didnt give them to my customers and had to spend more money out of pocket to buy new dye. Never will I ever ever make this mistake again. The pictures I have attached he first tank was SUPPOSED to be their Matcha Green ( more like NOTCHA GREEN) and you can see in the second how dull and lifeless the colors come out.

Was my first time doing tye dye. The instructions are not good at all.

Very disappointed in final result. The dyes were easy to use, however they were not effective. We let the shirts sit tied up in a plastic bag for 24 hours, unwrapped, washed in cold water with 1 tide pod and the shirts were faded and dingy looking. There are not adequate directions in the box. These wash instructions are the general consensus from an internet search. Not only did I waste my money on the dyes, but also over $100 for the shirts. We did tie dye t-shirts 4 my son 7th birthday party and we ended up doing 25 shirts with extra dye left over the kids had fun definitely worth the money will buy more it is very messy though any young kids should be super vised when using and they should definitely wear gloves and old clothes to do it definitely for the outside not inside

I would suggest investing in something that is a little better quality. Although the colors on these are great selection, It takes a lot of die and most of the colors show up light. I noticed that some of the bottles are quite watery.

This was a huge mess! I had no black dye because all of the black powder spilled and got all over my hand. I made it work but the bottles are small and I had to double fill the containers to get enough out. I’d probably pick something else!

Has everything needed for a family tie dye day. The colors hold well and bottles work great. Comes with great instructions.

This kit is awesome the colors come out so vibrant. I would definitely highly recommend this kit. I bought two of them for my father celebration of life was able to tie dye 12 shirts and 24 bandanas using both of the kits and still have a little over half of a kit left.

This was very disappointing for the price. Minimal amount of dye! Not enough to complete an entire t-shirt.
