> 3 dayTheres no electrical tape like this 3m material! Its very sticky, the adhesive doesnt break down under heat, the tape stretches, conforms and wraps like a tight membrane around whatever wire you are sealing. If this is a 10 rated, the Chinese disconunt tapes are maybe a 2. Dont bother, get this stuff! its great!

> 3 dayThis tape is tape. Its the kind of tape you want if you want electrical tape. If you want some other kind of tape, do not buy this tape.

> 3 dayThe tape smells like bad chemicals and worst than that it leaves black residue all over your hands but other than that its cheap and works great. I recommend buying it if you just want some electrical tape for the house just Incase you need some but if you use it everyday for jobs then no unless you dont mind the black fingers and smell.

> 3 dayIm not handy, as I mentioned. BUT my headset, which is wired (Im old school), had a wire that was showing and knew I needed to fix it or get another headset for over forty bucks to replace same one. This worked well. Just cut a bit and wrapped around throughly, plus there are instructions on package, but doubt you would need them. Anyway, saved me from getting new headset, met all criteria for what I needed for. STRETCHY, STICKS WELL. Beyond that, I dont know what to say.

> 3 dayMy partner accidentally sat against it and it melted on their skin. Its very prone to melting and getting tacky against even body warmth but alas it did what it was supposed to and patched up the laptop charger so 4/5 stars.

> 3 dayIm picky about electric tape. I was so tired of buying the same hard tape over and over. This stuff is softer, stickier, and easier to cut with a razor. It molds to the wire better and makes me feel better about protecting the connection.

> 3 dayScotch Electrical Tape, 3/4-in by 66-ft, Black I purchased two rolls of tape. The rolls I received were clearly defective. They had a carboard backing covered with a harder transparent formed plastic. I opened one package. The plastic covering fell off. It no longer adhered to the cardboard backing due to age and/or environ. The other product appeared to be in the same condition. The sides of the roll of tape were covered with a thin clear material. Removing this material was difficult, as the roll of tape seemed to be partially melted to it. I was able to get it off, but was covered with what once was adhesive material, now black in color and gooey. This material got all over my hands and was challenging to wash off. I cut off a piece of the tape itself. It was no longer adhesive. The item I attempted to stick the tape to was then, not surprisingly, covered with the black jelly-like goo. The goo had mostly lost its stick-to-it-iveness, but, anthropomorphized, sure seemed to enjoy gliding around covering more surface area. It was, as some say, a royal pain in the (cough) to remove (at least visibly - its most likely still lurking). Not a great experience. These rolls of tape are very old and/or were exposed to extreme temperature and/or other factors resulting in their no longer being effective. The condition was easily noticeable and the lot should be disposed of - certainly not sold. Buying these rolls wasted my time, negatively impacted something I own, may be the source of another The Blob remake, and may have altered my genetic code. Only time will tell. As per the many other reviews citing the same mysterious black gooey residue issues, possibly of alien origin, that Ive reported, this isnt a one-off problem. Why is Amazon continuing to sell this? What are the 5-star reviews on about? What is the goo? Inquisitive minds want to know.
