> 3 dayI expected a 3M product to be terrific which is why I bought this brand of duct tape. But it didnt stick to the plastic item I needed it to. So although it tears very nicely by hand it doesnt serve the main purpose I bought it for. I consider this purchase a waste of money.

> 3 daySome of the reviews complained that this tape would only stick to itself and that it was really thin and that the quality was poor especially for a 3M product. I found none of these issues. The thickness was fine, although it isnt super thick like duct tape, but it isnt advertised as such. The adhesive is good. Someone also said the black dye rubs off, I didnt find that either. It is very shiny and looks great! My only minor complaint is that it seems to scuff easily. I am using it to create a finished looking edge and wanted it to be flawlessly black.

Greater than one weekI bought this product to secure a rattling fender on my black car - taping tight plastic pieces and it totally worked and lasted all the elements - heat, sun, rain, high speeds. Its duct tape but black and really strong. I didnt want to spend hundreds of dollars to take my car into the shop so this was an easy fix.

> 3 dayI had some loose black trim on my beater car. This was the cheap & easy way to secure it down unobtrusively. Its held up through heat, wet weather, and the cold. I tried a couple of other tapes made for that purpose but they sucked. This works.

> 3 dayThis tape doesnt adhere as well as the Duck tape brand. Everything else I have in 3M products are top notch. Somehow they fell a bit short on this product or I got a bad one out of the batch.
