3M Tegaderm 1624W Transparent Film Dressing 2 3/8 x 2 3/4 - Window Frame Box: 100

This product was recommended by my Dermatologist to help cover pressure sores on my nose during the day. Even with a topical cream, the film stayed on. It did leak a little bit but not a lot.

This product does the job it was designed for. However, it needs better adhesive

Prior to using the Tegaderm it is advised to use alcohol to clean the areas that the adhesion will be applied. Used it to protect my catheter (for dialysis on chest). Works really well.

Had to use when on terrible Fentyal Patches to keep them from falling off. Works great.

Does the job of proteccting the wpounf during the healing process. Does not require daily changinf if there is no bleeding.

I CONTINUALLY ORDER THIS PRODUCT. IT IS EXCELLENT IN MY OPINION. IT KEEPS YOUR WOUND DRY AND AND CLEAN AND FREE FROM DIRT. THE TEGADERM IS VERY THIN, BUT STRONG. WHEN APPLYING IT, YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU PRESS DOWN FIRMLY AND ALL AROUND AS WELL AS HOLD IT DOWN FOR A MINUTE OR SO TO ENSURE THAT IT STICKS TIGHTLY, THEN RIGHT AFTER WHEN REMOVING THE WHITE PAPER ON THE OUTER EDGING FROM THE STICKY DRESSING DONT PULL HARD BECAUSE YOU WONT GET A THOROUGH SEAL BECAUSE THE ENDS OF THE TEGADERM DRESSING WILL NOT STICK TO YOUR SKIN. IF YOU PERSPIRE HEAVILY, SHOWER, OR TAKE A BATH THE BANDAGE UNDERNEATH THIS DRESSING WILL BECOME MOIST AND THEN GET WET IF YOU DO NOT GET A TIGHT SEAL AS WATER WILL DEFINITELY SEEP INTO YOUR INNER DRESSING AND WOUND AND THEN RUIN THE TEGADERM.
