These are battery operated little fans, but do not move much air just more so to keep flies away with the constant spinning. The base is plastic that telescopes up and can either sit on a table or be hung upside down by a hook on the bottom. Takes 2 AA batteries as said in description to run each fan. They are easy to assemble.

Keep flies away from out food . I bought them for when we have parties . The fans were way easier and more effective. I leave it on my countertop and end up using it almost everyday now.

Not worth the money. These are really cheap spend the extra money and buy a name brand. The spin slow all have different speeds and very inconsistent.
