> 3 dayI do like this product you get 40 different colors the price was very good I have only one problem with this product I bought it the same time I bought my Brother sewing and embroidery machine my problem is I only received 3 colors that I could use with the the patterns that came with my machine. Im a beginner at embroidery Yes I know you can use different colors then what the book recommend but until I get my confidence I like going by the book. The colors are so pretty and for the price I would recommend this product.

> 3 dayOk Its been a couple years. Almost all of the thread was great in the se400 machine. I then got Husqvarnas, Jade35, Diamond and Topaz 50 as well as a Brother 4000d.... This thread SO DOES NOT WORK in these expensive machines. I sold the se400 and the thread went with it. I definitely think its a fine value for just starting out on a cheaper machine but once you decide you love embroidery(if you do) then youll need to seriously invest in thread. Im talking $7 a spool Robinson Anton Rayon. Thats currently the main thread I use and its just worth it to not have the headaches. Yes I can only buy a few spools at a time but its better than getting so unbelievably frustrated and thinking its your machine. It constantly breaks, birdsnests and has tension issues with this thread in more expensive (Faster) machines. It is the speed of those machines that make this thread not work. Its simply not strong enough for 600-1000 stitches per minute. Brother se400 was like 350 stitches per minute. That was fine. Im done now, just had to update this to current opinion on it. I am about to try New brothread to see how that works, not for my products in my store but for personal embroidery projects. I am not saying you have to spend $7 a spool but thats what works for me to not be pulling out my hair with frustration from thread breaks. I have had my brother se400 for nearly a week now and have used nearly every single color that has been included in this box. Great packaging by the way, a nice sturdy box with 20 spools on top then you lift out the insert and there is another 20 spools below, I am keeping it right in the box because it is perfect for my needs at this point until I graduate to a wooden spool sorter. Every single color is amazing quality. I was not sure for the price... I mean it is a HUGE difference from going to my local Joanns where each spool is $5 and thats the cheapest available for embroidery thread there. This... .80 cents a spool and could not be better. Have I said I love Amazon today, I do, I really do! I am so proud of myself for ordering the items together too, my husband said thats the way to do it and he was absolutely right, the packages were delivered by different trucks and arrived just 3 hours apart, my machine at 9 a.m. and the thread, additional hoop and tear away stabilizer at noon. I was able to begin embroidering as soon as it came and I really would have been bummed to have needed to drive 20 minutes to Joanns and buy just 5 spools of the 6 dollar thread the woman there told me to get because it is the best and only had 5 spools for the price I got 40 beautiful vibrant colors. they are all exactly as the pictures of my embroidery designs are supposed to look. As far as I can see they do NOT give any dud colors either. They are all very commonly used embroidery colors. It says you need number 515, you look in your box and there it is, 515, beautiful, vibrant Moss Green and exactly what your pattern calls for! As far as I am concerned I will not be buying ANY thread from Joanns, that is nonsense. I cannot believe that 6 dollar thread she suggested could be any better whatsoever, these are thick, beautiful colors for a fraction of the cost. NO colors have broken in my se400 (other than one time I thought the fabric was too thick for stabilizer... oops, then I put the stabilizer on there and voila, fixed, no more breaking thread. Great buy. This is a no brainer, if you have an se400 buy the thread!

> 3 dayI love it with multi color threads but the problem is then I put thread on the stool holder sewing machine; it is wobble because of the inside the thread has a wide hole; it is not custom to fitted. It does not holds to it. I found small threads from convenient store and I put two thread inside the big hole with big thread. You will not get thread with spool stand. Wrong picture.
