40 Spools Polyester Embroidery Machine Thread

> 3 dayThis is a great price for a huge selection of embroidery thread for machine embroidery. The thread itself is good quality, not great quality. Some of the thread has broken during use. The other problem is I cant always find the beginning of the cone. Its very difficult and I have in several instances had to use a pair of tweezers to pull any thread and cut it to get the spool going. the Thread also doesnt lock after used, so I use a piece of masking tape to hold the end in place.

Greater than one weekAfter 5 long frustrating months of destroying every item I made with my brand new Brother PE770 Embroidery Machine the sweet ladies at my local Sew & Vac helped narrow down the culprit to this thread. I have wasted so much money, changing needles, rebuying quality brands of stabilizers, which I now know is very important and on Labor Service Calls to get jammed thread and projects out of the machine. I was ready to just give up and never touch my machine again I was so frustrated. It was the devil. Lol I thought I had bought a crappy machine. Low and behold, by process of elimination and one incredibly patient embroidery expert at my local Brother Authorized Service Center, Tidewater Sew & Vac, she sat patiently and showed me step by step, how important it is the NOT purchase a no name brand of embroidery thread, claiming to have numbers that match brother. I was a newbie, never had touched an embroidery machine before April, and fell into the trap of what would fit in my budget. Dont make the same mistake. Always buy a Name Brand thread, not a copy cat. Thank god, I didnt buy the 260 spool bargain, they have listed. Ive been saving for that. My money will go to Brother Brand or Floriani. Good Luck

Greater than one weekI love the shades and variety that this set offers. This thread has not broken, however the thread that came with the machine has. I love this set as a starter set, so I can determine what colors I use most often.

> 3 dayI bought this thread because it had mostly positive reviews. However, after trying to work with it all day, I have come to the conclusion that this really isnt good thread. Im new to embroidery and thought this might be a good way to learn my machine and find a good beginning. However, the only thing I learned was how to troubleshoot. I started off making small bugs and inside of appliqued stars for a baby quilt. The applique part went great! The thread broke once, maybe twice and then there werent anymore hiccups. As my machine moved on to the bug, the project got thicker, and the thread began to bunch up underneath the project and broke. I re-threaded the machine multiple times and the thread continued to break within 100-200 stitches. I looked at how the thread was being pulled off the spool and it kept getting wound around the spool holder. I tried every spool cap, every position and tried every troubleshooting step in my machines manual to get it to work. It just didnt. While it would work OK for thinner embroidery projects, it is not suitable for anything thick. At all. I would not recommend it to anyone.

> 3 dayThe colors are so bright on this really strong and durable thread. Really brings my projects to a whole different level of perfection when I use this polyester thread.

> 3 dayI bought this for my wife to use on her Brother PE770 embroidery machine. The threads seem to work great. She had only one instance so far of a thread breaking during embroidery, but otherwise it seems to behave great.
