I tried other docking stations prior to the one. The issue I had with the other stations was that the stations took a long time for the station to charge the laptop while using it. Hence, I thought I would have the same charging issue. I have NO problems with the charging time on my mac via the docking station; even though I have the station plugged into an electrical wall USB-c outlet. . The best feature of the docking station is the compact casing which requires little desk space. Another nice feature is the station allows me access to dual 4K external monitors. For people the are not technically inclined, don’t work the dock is plug-and-play

Great dock with no issues on windows, macOS or running my iPad Pro. The fins can be removed if you want to use this as a dock inside your desk as well. High quality build and great customer service as well!

This review is on the 4URPC docking station. I have had this dock for almost a month. I am a fan of docking stations because they just make sense. They provide the ability to use your notebook as a desktop with a minimum amount of effort. By this I mean that you set your notebook down and connect just one cable and you are in business. In my setting I am using a Dell XPS 15 notebook. This is a high powered notebook- i9 processor, lots of memory and a 130-watt power supply. I have the 130-watt power supply connected to the dock which in turn supplies power to the notebook. I only have to plug a single usb-c cable from the dock to the notebook to become functional. I have the following devices connected to the dock: • two monitors connected via HDMI cables. • a wireless keyboard/mouse connected via usb • a webcam connected via usb • an external hard drive via usb • a wired ethernet connection Everything works fine. There is one issue with the dock which I will address. This dock is designed to support a notebook computer vertically to save space on the desk. If someone’s work required them to frequently take their notebook with them when they left their desk then this dock would be a good solution, because you simply unplug one cable and you’re good to go. However, if you leave your notebook at your desk most all the time then you will come across this issue. If you shut down your computer you cannot turn on the computer unless you remove it from the stand, open it up and then press the power button. At that point you return it to the stand and use it normally. This is somewhat of a hassle. I have used a Dell notebook dock which has the same functionality as the 4URPC, but in addition it has a power button on the dock itself. This means if the computer is connected to the dock, you do not need to open it up and press the power button to begin using your computer. This is my suggestion: Add a power button to the dock to be able to power-on the computer. This may or may not be an issue for others. In addition to the Dell, I have tested this dock with an ASUS Chromebook. It worked fine with the Chromebook. If you are considering this dock, just be aware this is designed for commuters that are powered by usb-C. If your computer does not get power by a usb-C cable, then you should look for another dock.

I got this one to replace my old docking station. I got surprised by how good the quality is for that price. It made my deck setup so much easier and more organized. It’s easy to use and works perfectly. Very recommended.

I have really enjoyed using this docking station for the last couple months. It is a great value for the money and also has worked really well with the different computers I have tested it with. As expected, it allows me to run two tv / computer monitors from the dock as well as my laptop monitor on my HP laptop, so that is great. 3 working screens with peripherals all attached. All I have to do is plug one small cord into my laptop and it is charging my laptop and hooking / connected to everything else. Ive also used it with my Mac Mini and a couple other computers just to see how it would do and have been impressed with it working very well and as I expected. Great value for the money and really cool look and feel to this docking station. My picture isnt great in my setup since I still had some wires I was routing, but it has been a nice addition to my computer setup. Really like and recommend!

This dock was provided to me by 4URPC to test/evaluate it. I am typically offered new products by 4URPC to evaluate and test for them. I purchase the dock and then they reimburse me. Please know that I am reimbursed prior to writing any reviews and my reviews are 100% honest. I also provide feedback to 4URPC. For this dock I will start by stating the design is very similar to other models. My evaluation is solely based upon my use with an HP ZBook Firefly 14 inch G8 Mobile Workstation running Windows 10 22H2. I have been using it almost daily for 8 + hours a day for ~ 8 weeks now. At first I had some issues with the built in NIC registering a connection. I am not sure what caused this, maybe a driver needed to be updated, but after about 60 seconds it started working and I havent had an issue since. I did let 4URPC know and they recommended I send an email to their support team. However, I never did since I havent had an issue since. I have noticed that sometimes after disconnecting my laptop and then later reconnecting my laptop will not detect the dock. All drivers and OS are up to date. To resolve the issue, I find disconnecting the laptop from the dock, disconnecting the dock from power let the dock sit for ~ 5 seconds, reattach power cable to dock and then attach laptop back to dock, it then detects it. This happens from time to time on all docks from my experience to I am not too concerned about this. My one recommendation I made 4URPC was to include the power supply with the dock like they do with other models. I dont like having to go out and purchase a power supply matching it up, etc. It isnt a big deal but I would prefer that they just provide a complete setup. They stated they would let their engineers know. Other than that I have no complaints. The unit works as expected and I have always liked the design of this type of dock as it gets my laptop up our of the way giving me some desk space back. I do recommend this dock model for at least use with pc laptops.

As a college student, I am constantly juggling between different projects, assignments, and activities. The docking station provided by 4URPC has been a game-changer for me. It has made my work/life more efficient, with dual HDMI ports I can easily extend my laptop display onto two external monitors, giving me the space I need to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously. The docking station is also plug-and-play, making it easy to set up and use right out of the box. Overall, I highly recommend this docking station to any college student or work from home employee who needs to stay productive and efficient while juggling multiple tasks!

Great little dock if you need to reclaim some of your real estate on your work surface. It works great. Ethernet port had excellent transfer rates, USB ports and audio out all worked fine. I already had two external monitors, so giving up the laptop screen was not a big deal. I was concerned there might be a heat issue with the laptop closed, but that was not the case. I have an unusual setup, in that this Dell computer is being used as a true desktop replacement. While I have wireless printer and I am using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, I still have a USB scanner, USB label printer, external USB webcam, USB microphone, USB backup drive, etc. Given the small, but very sturdy base, there just is not room for the number of ports I required. That being said, I just attached a simple small USB hub and problem solved. Lastly, for Windows users who use “Windows Hello” for sign in and to verify identity for secure programs, you would have to go back to using a PIN or one of the better webcams with that feature. Off course that applies to all of the stand-up format docks, not just this one. Overall, at this price point, a nice way to cleanup your work surface and only have a single cord to the laptop.
