This dock was provided to me by 4URPC to test/evaluate it. I am typically offered new products by 4URPC to evaluate and test for them. I purchase the dock and then they reimburse me. Please know that I am reimbursed prior to writing any reviews and my reviews are 100% honest. I also provide feedback to 4URPC. For this dock I will start by stating the design is very similar to other models. My evaluation is solely based upon my use with an HP ZBook Firefly 14 inch G8 Mobile Workstation running Windows 10 22H2. I have been using it almost daily for 8 + hours a day for ~ 8 weeks now. At first I had some issues with the built in NIC registering a connection. I am not sure what caused this, maybe a driver needed to be updated, but after about 60 seconds it started working and I havent had an issue since. I did let 4URPC know and they recommended I send an email to their support team. However, I never did since I havent had an issue since. I have noticed that sometimes after disconnecting my laptop and then later reconnecting my laptop will not detect the dock. All drivers and OS are up to date. To resolve the issue, I find disconnecting the laptop from the dock, disconnecting the dock from power let the dock sit for ~ 5 seconds, reattach power cable to dock and then attach laptop back to dock, it then detects it. This happens from time to time on all docks from my experience to I am not too concerned about this. My one recommendation I made 4URPC was to include the power supply with the dock like they do with other models. I dont like having to go out and purchase a power supply matching it up, etc. It isnt a big deal but I would prefer that they just provide a complete setup. They stated they would let their engineers know. Other than that I have no complaints. The unit works as expected and I have always liked the design of this type of dock as it gets my laptop up our of the way giving me some desk space back. I do recommend this dock model for at least use with pc laptops.

nice sturdy design with a spot to place your laptop and keep it out of the way. Helps organize your cord mess pretty well.

Ill start out with my only complaint, and that it doesnt have any USB-C ports other than the power in and the host port, so all accessories have to be with USB or HDMI, which is ok! The good - the unit supports two monitors seamlessly. Currently I have an LG widescreen and a Samsung Smart monitor, and there are no issues. I like the SD card slot as my Surface Pro 7 has limited onboard memory. Overall I think this is a good device for the cost and would not hesitate purchasing another if I needed it. Speaking of which, I have 2 of their previous models which I have also enjoyed!

Was offered the opportunity to purchase this and was having some issues with a competitor’s docking station at same time time. So, thought I’d try it. Have two monitor and speakers connected. Very easy to setup and have had no issues so far. Very responsive when unlock the laptop and the design saves a bit of space. Based on experience so far would recommend.

I recently purchased this docking station, and it is easy to use. I just plugged in the cables, and everything worked, and the quality of the display was excellent. I also like how it can be used as a stand to hold the laptop, or i can have the laptop open to use its display. I would recommend this docking station and will purchase it again in the future.

This dock performs as expected and is true to the product description. There are areas that could be improved upon: 1. The host connector port is out in the front and so it can be quite unsightly - should be placed in the back with the power cable port for better cable management and aesthetics. 2. The dock does not allow for the prongs to be adjusted and so depending on your laptop, it may not be a perfect fit and have some wiggle room. 3. The product does NOT come with a power brick and so youll need an adequate usb c powered brick. Despite the areas for improvement, the product does everything it describes and fully functions for a WFH setup. It is well-built and will update with longer use.

I recently tried out the HU104D Docking Station, a unique USB-C docking station designed to offer a range of connectivity options while providing a convenient storage solution for your closed laptop. This innovative docking station has an interesting design and a variety of features that I found useful. Design and Build Quality: The HU104D Docking Station features a distinctive design with two open walls that stand up, allowing you to slide your closed laptop inside for safe storage. This design choice not only saves desk space but also keeps your workspace organized. Although the docking station isnt as portable as some other options on the market, its build quality is solid and it stays securely in place on your desk. Connectivity: The docking station supports two additional monitors through its HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, which can display 1080p resolution at 60Hz. I connected my two monitors without any issues, and the image quality was crisp and clear. The HU104D also has three USB ports, which is a decent number for most users. These ports came in handy for connecting peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, and external hard drive. Additionally, the RJ45 Ethernet port allowed me to connect directly to my router, ensuring a stable and fast internet connection. The inclusion of a 3.5mm audio port is a nice touch, as it allowed me to use my wired headphones for video calls and multimedia consumption. Laptop Storage: The unique design of the HU104D Docking Station allows you to store your closed laptop inside the dock itself. This feature is perfect for those who use external monitors and want to keep their laptops out of sight while not in use. I found this feature to be very practical and space-saving. No Power Supply Included: One downside of the HU104D Docking Station is that it does not come with a power supply. This might be an issue for some users, especially if their laptops dont provide enough power through the USB-C port. However, I didnt face any problems during my usage, as my laptop provided sufficient power to the docking station. Overall Impression: The HU104D Docking Station offers a unique solution for those looking to expand their connectivity options while providing a practical storage solution for their laptops. Despite the lack of a power supply, it delivers a smooth multi-monitor experience and a range of useful ports. If youre in the market for a reliable and innovative USB-C docking station, the HU104D is worth considering.

This is a pretty good stand. It is a room saver. The only thing is when I plug my monitor into the dock it blacks in and out. So I just use it as a stand.

Quick and easy use. As a dock it is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The proper ports are in the front and rear from a day to usage. The laptop holder is nice when using two monitors and or you want a little more desk space. I had no issues using with both older and new monitors which was great!
