Greater than one weekWhen I loaned my sander to a friend the old pad came off. This replacement was easy. My friend has sanded some table tops with it.

Greater than one weekThis was a replacement pad for my Craftsman Orbital Sander model 315 112170. It fit the sander, but after about 1 hour of sanding the rubber ring and hard plastic on the inside of the pad broke and came flying out of the sander. Item seemed cheap for the price paid. Going to see if they will honor the warranty. I do not recommend this product.

> 3 dayI bought this item in January, 2023 and I finally got a chance to use it in April right now. I replaced the rubber pad of my Craftsman rotary sander with this pad and bought a pack of Diablo sanding discs with hook’n lock…. It sticks ok initially but discs start flying off like after 5 mins of each use. I cannot stick back the disc as the hooks don’t stick strong enough anymore. Basically, the sanding discs become useless even far before I could use up all the sanding surface. I will have to buy another replacement pad but definitely NOT with this seller.

Greater than one weekthis was easy to install. Just remove 4 screws to take off the old pad and use them to add this more substantial one. The hook and loop works perfectly with the disks I bought. There is one caveat for using this with my B&D BDERO 100. The original pad is glued to a backing plate that fits into a collar. This product does not have the proper profile to slide into the collar. So you have to pry the backing plate off the old pad and use it as a shim when installing this one. Took about 5 min with a chisel to get it off.
