Good pad but Isn’t compatible with my makita BO5010 MAKITA Orbital Sander. Holes don’t exactly line up for screws

Tried installing this on a Makita B05021. The center hole diameter where the metal disk fits in is a bit too small and also the three holes where the screws attach the pad to the sander are dimensionally off. Looking at the bottom I can see the holes in the pad are slightly offset from the holes in the sander. I can get two screws partially in but then the third will not thread into the sander.

Used to have to replace these pads every couple of months when my cabinet shop was busy. Now that Im retired, my hobby work is a lot less demanding. These fit perfectly on both my DeWalt and Porter-Cable sanders. The hooks grab the sandpaper firmly and therefore fulfill their sole purpose just fine. Will buy again if I have to. Price for two is less than price for one DeWalt branded replacement.

I was hopeful after reading the other positive reviews but these are cheap knock offs that warp when installed. Instead of having a flat sanding surface, it is wavy. I believe it is due to a combination of the installation screw holes not being bored out and the backing plate being too thin and cheap a material for this purpose. As the pad returns to flat when removed, I tried loosening the screws, but no luck.
