It comes wrapped up in an oval. It is a tad difficult to get the curve out. But you have to otherwise the hem will follow the direction the braid is curving. Using low heat, a damp ironing cloth, and multiple passes, I was able to get remove the curves and get it straightened out. Otherwise it sews nicely and is quality - doesnt easily crack.

This is the thinnest horsehair Ive ever seen. It will still work fine, but this is not quality horsehair. I work in the bridal industry, and it should be much harder. Considering the price, I guess I shouldnt have expected much
