Greater than one weekMost horsehair for bridal is a nice quality. This however is a thick plastic. It held up well but the ends were all wirery and a hot mess. Plus this doesnt have nice flow like a good bridal hem needs. If youre just looking for something cheap this would be a good buy.

07-06-2025Good quality! Not the heavy duty horsehair but surprisingly great quality. Works great for the lightweight fabrics like tulle, organza or chiffon

> 3 dayI am learning to use this product and really like it. I am unsure if the end is meant to shed so badly but other than that it works.

Greater than one weekExactly what I needed for wedding gown. Slightly disappointed I did not get the whole 50 yards but only got 46 1/2.

> 3 dayThe use is very limited by fraying at the cut edge - the fibers are stiff and stick out and poke at everything around them. The only way around that is to use this inside very dense fabrics or encase the cut edges in very stiff dense tape, which adds considerable bulk to the ends. I even tried burning the cut edges and that creates blobs at the ends of the fibers, which would prevent them from sticking through, but still adds bulk and the fibers still poke in all the different directions - hard to control.

> 3 dayGreat quality and showed up in tact and everything. I only returned it because it was too short for my project.
