Ive changed all of my standard clear tubing to this flexible black style. It blends in better with the tank corners, doesnt show build up the way the clear does, and is a lot easier to work with. I really HATE to have over exposed equipment in my tank, so this is perfect. I cant stress enough how much better the flexibility of this tubing is over the standard stuff youd buy in the store.

It is soft flexible air tubing that fits standard 1/4 air line, but its a little more thin that I would hope and came with some kinks in it, but was still perfectly usable even with the kinks.

High quality hosing that is soft & easy to insert into valves & connectors. The black coloring helps conceal the hosing for those of us with black backgrounds. Does an excellent job blending in with such backgrounds when combined with the black suction cups for sale here on Amazon. This product also came with a few adjustable air valves (also black) that I attach to all my sponge filter hosing at a point somewhere just outside the tank. This makes for easy disconnecting when cleaning the sponges. You dont have fight with stuck hoses or risk breaking plastic nozzles on your sponge filter or air pump which I have done. Its worth using for that alone if you smaller tanks that you can reach right into & pull out a sponge a filter. You also dont need a large plastic bag, filter sock, or fish net to try to & scoop up your sponge filter while trying to prevent all the detritus from falling off. Just add one of these adjustable valves to the hose line by cutting it at a point you can easily access it then when needing to remove/clean sponge slowly pull your sponge filter out by the hose line until you can easily grip the weighted bottom. You can even let the excess water run off above your tank this method works so well. I just wish I had thought of it years prior to doing so.
