I needed this for my ring floodlight. The light switch must stay in the on position. Its hard to break the habit of flipping the switch!

Keeps switches from being able to be turned off.

These work as expected, but the plastic is about as cheap as you can expect, with visible imperfections and crack-like appearances. If you dont care how they look, they work fine. If you do care how they look, youll be disappointed.

I wouldn’t bother with these if I were you. We bought these because we live in an older home where the electricity in our living room is controlled by a switch. Our youngest will flip the switch in the middle of our oldest playing a video game and it doesn’t save the game and is bad for the ps4 to be shut off that way. You can definitely still turn the switch off just enough to cut off the power. It’s a useless overpriced piece of plastic.

These work awesome for my Alexa controlled switches and lights. No more having accidental disconnects cause me to delete and reinstall the lights within the app.

I tried other Switch protectors and this one really does the job as described. I am glad to have purchased this product and would definitely recommend to others.

So I do like these - the only issue is the price (I paid around $11 for 5). Really? For thin plastic strips? Also these will not work on those stacked vertical switches that fit into one space a normal switch would go but thats not what they are for I guess. You might be able to get a bunch of these 3-d printed online somewhere else for cheaper. Otherwise they perform as expected AND I think they are better than those switch blocker type covers which people seem to work around almost unconsciously. Am using them for my basement steps light switches which are activated by a smart home controller, motion detectors and smart lighting.

Well, its exactly what I was looking for. I installled motion sensing lights in the closet and pantry, so I dodnt need the switch anymore. I could have removed the switch and shorted the wiring and put a blank cover on it but I wanted to leave the switch in case I wanted to go back or the next owner didnt like it. You get a pack of 5 of these for $11. A bit expensive for thin pieces of acrylic plastic with three holes in it. THey are CNC machined - if they had enough volume they could mold them for about a penny apiece. Still, I guess its worth it. More demerits for these simple oversights: No instructions altho its easy to figure out - they should tell you to peel the protective plastic coating off since many people wont know to do that and the plastic is matte and rough and ugly unless you take it off both sides. The two mounting holes are always with flat head screws on the switch plates and should have been countersunk (a beveled hole). The screw heads stick up very ugly. - 10 seconds apiece with the right countersink tool in my workshop fixed them but they should come that way. If you have some 1/16th plastic and a drill press you can knock a dozen of these out in a few minutes.- theyre that simple. If you need just a couple its probably easier to buy these and they do work perfectly

Works perfectly. It in my garage, so it doesn’t have to be beautiful, since it’s really out if sight anyway. Fits well and my pieces were in great condition. Similar to other reviewers, I needed it for a Ring Camera/Light.
