> 3 dayIt does what it suppose to do. Not sure why the rating has a category for thickness, its not very thick, BUT its enough to do what it suppose to do.

> 3 dayWe bought a fan that apparently requires power on all the time. We didnt want to put the big child locks on because our kids are grown up and out of the house. I thought these were very cool when I found them. It looks like acrylic so its extremely clear and durable. Super easy to install. You can either put them on the front of the plate or behind it if you want to hide them. But they definitely keep the switch in the on position. If you wanted to change to the off position, just rotate it 180° . Some people thought these were pricey, but I didnt think so. Youre certainly not gonna find these at Home Depot. If youre looking for something that looks like it doesnt exist practically to lock down a switch, these are great choice.

Greater than one weekOur new home had easy access to my Toddler to start up the Gas Fireplace with a flip of a switch. We added these to the switches and you cant even tell they are there. I am unable to flip the switch myself so I have confidence itll deter the Toddler. Item is great for switches that you do not want used or are used infrequently (think seasonally) and were easy to install.

> 3 dayVery please. We use them for the lights that power the motion detector lights; keeping the switch in the on position. We also use them on switches that control the outdoor smart lights that run on a timer. Again, the power always needs to be on. Would have been useful when my kids were little to prevent them from operating the fireplace that operates via two wall switches.

> 3 dayI bought some light-sensing bulbs for my front and back doors. I just installed one on the front porch and used one of these switch covers to lock the light switch into the On position since I have an autistic grandson who likes to play with switches. Now I dont have to worry about him turning off the light-sensing light outside! Please note, these are only useful if you want a switch to stay in one position at all times. I have yet to find one that works well for preventing little fingers from playing with lights that I do need to turn on and off throughout the day.

> 3 dayDelivered less than five minutes ago - already installed and perfect. Does exactly what I needed it to do. Got extras to go block off some switches Im tired of the kids flipping that we dont use. (our house has so many light switches most are duplicates of others)
