Bought this wire for motorcycle battery cables. The coating is pretty rugged. The wire is decent quality and fits into cheap lugs.

This will be an updated review after the chinesium stank is cooked off, it is a decent flexible cable, we will see if it actually hands 200 welding amps or not, which I suspect it will cause this is 2mm thicker than the cable that came with my 200 amp machine Update Stank is mostly gone but it has be holding up just fine for my 200amp machine

Its good to read all the reviews when buying a product. I was very apprehensive when I ordered this 4 ash wire because several of the reviews stated it was smaller than a true 4 awg. Too small for a 4 guage lugs that I was using . Returned for a refund# Thank you Amazon Prime and to all the people who write reviews.

4 awg with all copper strands. The wire is flexible but sturdy.

I bought this cable to connect my battery bank to my inverter. The cables are very easy to manipulate as they are very flexible. Crimping lugs was also easy and they perform great. These are the correct cable size for my application. I have no warming of the cables and very little loss. I highly recommend these cables to anyone who needs cabling for their solar system. I give this cable 5 stars.

Bought this true 4 gauge OFC wire to upgrade my charging system and run a fuse box for the car I am restoring. Completely satisfied and would buy again. It came wrapped with tape that said fragile! ;)
