Wish there were more reds

Im new to sewing. I bought these for normal sewing on a normal machine, not embroidery. I didnt know that you cant use cone spools on my normal machine. I bought an adapter though, which stands separate from the machine and adjusts tension. It works well and now I almost exclusively use this thread. Its more durable than normal thread.

Great value for your money. My first order there was complications with how the box was stored but the 2nd box im really impressed with. I was comparing to isacord and found zero difference. I really wanted to love these. The price is really good and as many of the other reviews mention, the color selection is great. They’re packaged and organized well, with a handy color chart to help with choosing a matching thread quickly. However, I have found the quality of these threads to be extremely spotty. Some of them have been great, while others have been weirdly brittle and prone to snapping/twisting/tangling. I’ve used maybe 20 of the different colors now, and I’d say every other one has been of degraded quality. It’s kind of hard to explain what happens, but as you can see in the photos, there will be random breakages already in the thread on the spool (before I put it in the machine) and if I don’t notice and cut them out before starting, they VERY quickly create a huge rat’s nest and headache for me. Also, since the thread is fairly slippery, some split in half, but don’t break. They just keep twisting until there are these micro lumps in the stitch that degrade the strength, but you don’t notice until you’re done. It’s pretty frustrating. That’s the picture on the left. I thought the price was probably too good to be true. I don’t think I’ll be buying these again. It could be user error…but I don’t think so. And I doubt it’s my machines, since I’ve used these on a Singer Scholastic, Singer Simple, Whites and Brother machine. To be fair, I’ve had less problems on the Brother than the others, so maybe it likes that one better. But it’ll be less hassle in the long run to just spend a bit more on thread and save myself countless hours of clearing out the machine or rethreading a thousand times because the top thread keeps splitting in half.

Ive been using this poly thread in my Janome 500e embroidery machine. It is working just great! I still cant believe all the threads I got for a ridiculously low price! I will buy this brand again - no problems in my machine.

Sorry it took me so long. Lets start with LOVE LOVE LOVE this thread. When I opened the box it looked like jewels, so vibrant and intense. Love the fact the color numbers are small and and to the side so when they are on the spindle you can read the numbers and that a nice color chart came with. Decided to due a new pattern last night and was going to use my other thread, disaster, changed to the Brothread and what a difference, all other thread is now in the trash. Again love it and will try more product.

Happy that I was able to purchase a variety of colors as one set that were easy to with my Brother machine since the color codes on spool matched the machine prompts. Wished I bought a storage box with them for easier access.

Im new to embroidery and de ided to order these threads because of the amount of thread for the price. I was not disappointed. The thread comes in a variety of vibrant colors. They also included a gift of thread nets which was a nice surprise because I had no idea that was something I might need. Now I need to buy a stand to house all the thread.

Great embroidery thread. I started using the embroidery feature on my machine and I needed a variety of thread colors to get me started. This is a great set. Gives you so many colors and the thread quality is really nice.
