Liked every thing about the felt. The only negative is that its very difficult to peel the protective layer off; its hard to get it started

My foot doctor recommends felt padding like this for my neuroma. She gave me a few pads that she cut out from a similar roll, so I bought this. She says they support better than gel, which moves around. This is fine, I guess, but the backing is really difficult to remove - much harder than the ones my doctor gave me. And with that, it seems pretty pricey. It sticks well and seems to be quality felt for support, but getting the backing off is a hassle.

This worked very well for protecting my father-in-laws feet... He had several open wounds from peripheral vascular disease. The surgeon and wound clinic recommended using felt, but the home health people didnt have thick enough felt so I purchased this product. He is down to one tiny wound now, so the felt did the job of protecting the wounds to promote healing. Thank you!

I use it in my practice and patients love it

As others have noted, it is a good product , but the backer is unnecessarily difficult to remove. If there is a good method to start a peel the seller should post it. Once you get a small area of the release layer free it will peel but it is very difficult to get it started . It will usually just seperate itself into two layers so one layer comes off but a thin layer remains. Then you have to use a fingernail to start a small peel of the shiny plasticy actual release surface, and you can get the adhesive exposed with some difficulty. Cant recommend on the basis of this alone, because I think many people would just give up, and find a more user friendly product.

I have been looking for this kind of felt padding for a very long time. We used this type of felt when I played college basketball to protect bruises and blisters. Now I need it for when Im hiking in Arizona to keep my stiff backpacking boots from causing blisters on the back of my heel. I like the fact that this felt holds very well and will not come off easily from sweat and constant movement Of my foot in hiking boots.
