Greater than one weekIve only made a few gaskets but this tool has worked well so far. It seems well made and the steel appears to be hardened. Im guessing that it could be used to cut thin metal sheet. I think its a bargain.

> 3 dayIt is a metric set with the inch equivalents. However the inch sizes are WAY off, as there is no metric and inch equivalents, for example, if you have a 6mm that shows a 1/4 being its equivalent, then 4 quarters is one inch BUT 4 6mm is only 24mm and an inch is exactly 25.4mm so 25.4 divided 4 is 6.35mm. This may not be an issue for you but for me it is unacceptable. When an items description states something I EXPECT it to be accurate and not misleading or just false. There is actually a federal law that forbids this practice, called false advertising. The pin pointer in the center is WAY off and not centered. The edge of the actual cutter itself is rolled or curled and not sharp at all. This is not a leather hole punch, or a punch that you can use for anything that requires a hole in it, meaning it cuts discs out of material. would not recommend that you cut chip board at a maximum thickness of 1/16. Anything with a thickness is either going to get torn or stretched out at the holes edge due to the angle that the cutter is sharpened at. The case has poor latches that dont stay closed. Furthermore, once a disc has been cut you have to disassemble it so you can remove it from within the cutter. Very poorly designed and quality is nothing short of junk. Returning this for all the above reasons, especially the false description By the way, ABN (the brand) actually stands for Auto Body Network...not a leather tool company, but sounds as though the are a Automobile Body tool manufacturer and trying to sell this as something it was clearly not meant to do.

13-06-2025The item was shipped quickly, upon my inspection of the kit I was very impressed with the thickness of the punches. The box housing the punches is also impressive, looks to be a kit I will be able to get a lot of use out of.

> 3 dayGreat little tool. I bought it for my sons science class at school when I found out they were using a paddle bit on a drill to make holes in cardboard and it works great.

Greater than one weekTried cutting small fleece circles. They never tell you what kind of surface to use. Started with wood, but just pressed into the wood and dented the fabric. Plastic on the wood finally did cut fabric after it cut through the plastic, but now have to buy as much plastic as fabric. Tried soft or thin metals, but same as wood and plastic. Tried a heavy duty cutting mat, thicker than quilter style mats, and again the fabric would not cut unless you hit really hard; then it cuts through the mat and uneven cuts on fabric. Tried metal similar to door hinge, not too hard, not too soft. Notta. After a few hits, the punch rolls inwards. Now a nice little biscuit cutter with non-threatening edges, other than the dough would catch up in the rolled up edge of the punch. Why cant someone make a punch that cuts fabric! You can cut metal and leather, but not fabric. I just dont get it!
