We bought two of these backpacks for our Elementary aged daughters and they are perfect for their daily needs. On the rare occasion where they bring home large library-borrowed books, the backpacks can be a bit of a tight fit. Overall, the backpacks feel pretty sturdy and good quality especially for the price paid. Our girls love the looks of their new bags. Very happy with the purchase.

Great quality. Yes a little smaller than anticipated. Yes pockets tight on sides but actually ok to fit a normal/slimmer water bottle and holds it in--doesnt fall out like her old backpack with mesh sides that stretched too much.

We bought this backpack for our middle schooler. She had used it for less than 3 weeks when the buckle on the strap broke while we were trying to adjust it. Very unhappy that it only lasted less than a month and it only had a few 1 binders in it. It never would have survived with a textbook in it!

Good quality. Side pockets won’t fit larger water bottles. But my daughter’s 20 oz bottle fits okay, so it works great for us.

I was concern that it was going to be small and not enough room for a soon to be a 5th grader.

Bag is working well for my child in 3rd grade. Surprisingly strong and durable. Kind of impressed. Most bags dont last, but this one is doing well.
