Absorbine Showsheen Showring Shine Detangler, 1 Gallon

I have been using show sheen on my horses and dogs for over 30 years and I have yet to find anything that de-tangles and polishes the coat better, especially after a bath.

Keeps mane and tail knot free !

I have used this product for over 20 years on my horses so it has to be good or I would find something else.

Ive used Showsheen for years and absolutely love it.

This is a staple in any barn. Even if you arent showing horses, it helps get tangles out of manes and tails, and shines up the coat. But dont use it under the saddle or other tack, or on any part of the horse where you want to hold on! Its slick.

Ive used Showsheen for over 40 yrs. Throughout these years, Ive tried many other products due to reports of Showsheen not being good for the mane/tail hairs. Not only have I found these claims to be untrue, Ive yet to find any other product to work as well as Showsheen. I dont even bother looking at any other similar product....Showsheen it IT, IMO.

The product works fine, price was great, shipping was super fast... however, when I opened the box, the cap was broken. The gallon was just thrown in the box. No padding or tape on cap, nothing. I could not seal a GALLON of liquid. Very disappointed, as 75% spilled... the 32oz sprayer I filled has been perfect. A 1 cent cap, not protected during shipping, caused me to lose most of the product.

Works great to get tangles out my long haired dog as I brush him, it softens his hair also

I have Afghan hounds, and used this product years ago. Why I stopped, I dont remember, but started using it again a few months ago. Just reordered the one gallon bottle so I dont run out. My dogs get mats between their front legs, behind their ears, and on their hips. One of my girls has a very heavy, thick coat and ShowSheen really helps cut through the tangles when I brush her. No other product Ive ever used has been this effective at untangling mats. It also helps keep their hair (Afghans have hair, not fur) from tangling and matting again so soon after grooming/bathing. You do have to be careful about getting it on surfaces, because it will cause them to become slippery. I keep a small, rubber-backed bathroom throw rug on my grooming table to absorb the ShowSheen so my dogs dont slip. I love this product!
