I have an older version of acer laptop and have been happy with the product, and based on age, time to replace.

The screen kinda shattered was very bizarre!!

I love how sleek this chromebook is and that it comes with a case and mouse which were a surprise to me. The fact that it has an internal memory is fantastic as well. Very happy with the quality. I feel like I got more for less money. Awesome!

I bought this lap top for my mother 2 years ago on 5/29/2020. Up until 6/30/2022, it has been a decent machine. However, I was not aware that this item sat in Amazons warehouse for 3 years before it was sold to me. Chromebooks have an OS life of about 5 years before updates stop. On 6/30/2022, the Chromebook reached end of life, a warning popped up and all security updates stopped. I called Amazon and was told there was nothing they could do for me. They gave me the phone # to Acer to try to update the software, but this has been unsuccessful. I believe Amazon should take responsibility for products they sell, especially electronics. I have asked for a partial refund, but was told that was not possible. BEWARE OF PURCHASING ELECTRONICS THROUGH AMAZON!

This is an affordable, well made little computer. Great for students. I am very happy with it.

Ordered 2 of these: upon arrival, 1 was perfectly fine; however, the security seal was damaged on the other box. That same 1 was stuck in the factory testing mode. Thankfully, I had an empty flash drive and was able to reset the system with an OS recovery tool from Google. Someone with less tech knowledge would have had to go though the return and repair process with this purchase.

This is the worst item I have ever purchased.

This was my third Acer Chromebook. And like the 2 before it, the microphone failed. Im not talking about poor audio or anything like that. More like - zero microphone. You can get around this with a headset, but thats not always ideal when your kid is in online classes all day. Or if you want to be able to hear whats going on w/ their virtual schooling. If you think about it, having an internal working mic is kind of essential.
