> 3 dayThe keyboard backlight is such a waste of time. They should do it nice or not at all. Really the backlifgt is so bad it makes the whole laptop feel cheap

> 3 dayOur first chrome book. We will use it mostly for web browsing and writing. It starts up very quickly and handles multiple web pages being open simultaneously. Should have switched to chrome book sooner!

> 3 dayThe good: This is my 2nd Chromebook and this one has a lot more features!. As long as you have a gmail account, setup takes just a couple minutes. This will automatically power on when opened, even when it is shut off from the last time. All programs are app based and so this requires WiFi. The screen can be flipped completely and used as a tablet. Hitting the keys, didnt seem to cause any issues in tablet mode. As a laptop, the touchscreen still functions. I hooked up an external mouse and it automatically recognized it, with no wait time! Google has tons of apps that can be added. Everything is stored via the cloud, which keeps this computer really fast as nothing needs to load. Google constantly is doing upgrades, so this will work at its total potential. The keyboard lights up and since there are no moving parts, battery life is quite good. This can be charged connecting to a USB C or via an outlet with the included cord.

> 3 dayI recently bought a pretty expensive hp pavillion PC, the screen looked so horrible and pixels where visible, maybe because I was use to my old chromebook. I bought this new chromebook and love it, the screen could be brighter but its its vibrant and the resolution is great. Easy to use, not like windows this works just like my android phone. I wanted a PC but I hate windows and mac so I chose a chromebook.

Greater than one weekIve had this lap top for roughly ten days, and there is already a pixel out on the screen. The visible white dot is very hard not to notice. Disappointed

25-11-2024The screen is flickering time to time. Very disappointing. Want to return, but the return window is already closed.

> 3 dayThough a bit heavy, this chromebook does not disappoint. Some highlights for me include lighted keyboard, fanless/silent operation beautiful screen and premium look & feel. USB type C charger is great and my USB-C car charger will charge it at a reduced rate. Biggest deficiency? The audio just isnt loud enough.

Greater than one weekExcellent hardware specifications for the current $599 price. I wanted better performance than the usual budget Chromebook, but I didn’t want to pay a premium. Google had their refurbished Pixelbook with the i5 for $699. It does not come with a stylus and there is not a place to garage it on the Pixelbook. I like that Acer used Wacom EMR for stylus support and the passive stylus garages in the bottom of the Spin 13.

> 3 dayWould not connect to my printer which is less than a year old. Otherwise, Chrome is so much better that Microsoft product. Chrome uses a different operating system. Good streaming and Internet. All my documents were saved from when I last used them.
