> 3 dayMy unit had the same issue that a couple other reviewers had- about 50% of the time the computer cannot detect the NVIDIA GPU and I frequently get BSoD with errors like video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error and driver_power_state_failure. I spent a couple days trouble shooting, I wiped and reinstalled the NVIDIA drivers multiple times and even factory reset the computer, reinstalled windows and everything. I get the blue screen multiple times a day with regular use (particularly when using photoshop as it often cannot use the dedicated graphics).

> 3 dayI love this computer. Had the speed to run my programs to design items and my kids love that they can work on homework and write it problems.

> 3 dayWe are older and dont do gaming or artist work. This laptop works great for everything we need it to do. She loves the look and feel of this computer.

> 3 dayAs an engineering student who does some video editing for fun, this is the best designed laptop Ive ever owned. The ezel screen hinge carries this machine from a decent notebook, to a flagship 2 in 1. I highly recommend this on the following criteria;

> 3 dayI thought it was just an issue with my laptop, until I checked the reviews and saw multiple others having the same issues. The actual laptop is pretty great. But there seems to be a pretty severe issue with the GPU. It is constantly BSODing, and after it recovers from it the GPU will remain disconnected and requires multiple restarts reenable. I sent it in to Acer Repair and they sent it back saying they couldnt reproduce it. I find it a little hard to believe, since all you have to do is turn on the laptop and it will BSOD eventually.

> 3 dayI got it because I wanted a laptop that I can use as my main workstation(development) for at least a few years, that can handle gaming decently, and with a touch screen that would make it more usable on the go and test out touch features.

> 3 dayOwned the device for 7 days now. Only used it once. On the 3rd day, I finally got a chance to use it. After about 2.5hours of working with the device, I got a blue screen with error: PAGE FAULT_IN NONPAGED AREA. I dont have any design programs on it yet. Only Office 365. When I picked up the device, it was extremely hot. I had the device sitting on my end table (completely flat surface). Ive had laptops before that did not run hot from sitting on a table, even after several hours of working. I dont understand this. After turning it off and letting it sit for about 30 minutes or so and turning it back on, it seemed to be fine. I havent even gotten the chance to work in Adobe yet. This is horrible. Im gonna do a little research before returning it, but Im sure I probably will.

> 3 dayThis is the first time I’ve not bought a Mac for design work. I wanted a laptop with a drawing / touch screen included for on the go work. This was a good solution. It runs illustrator, photoshop and InDesign well. Colour screen is quite good as well. If you are wanting to save a little money over buying a MacBook and iPad separately this is a workable solution for graphic design and illustration.
