> 3 dayLook, this is a really cool concept for a laptop. A laptop for creators and artists to be able to take their work on the go, that’s what this laptop advertises itself as. It presents itself as a laptop, but with the desktop power to be able to handle heavier programs. The screen moves and comes out for whatever it is you need, but the reality is, the laptop is too compact to truly be able to handle my programs. Simply running things like Adobe Illustrator or small games and the laptop’s fans are louder than the actual fan in my room. I also quickly ran into audio issues, and the laptop itself has stopped playing sound out of the speakers entirely. I’ve only had the laptop for a day. Acer has produced many good laptops that can handle resource-heavy programs/games, and their Concept D models haven’t all been bad, but I believe this one just seems to be a simple laptop with a few more buffed specs. If you’re looking for a sleek compact design for good day to day laptop, this is a good choice. But as for anything much more than that, you’d probably be better off with an actual heavy duty gaming laptop.

> 3 dayAs an engineering student who does some video editing for fun, this is the best designed laptop Ive ever owned. The ezel screen hinge carries this machine from a decent notebook, to a flagship 2 in 1. I highly recommend this on the following criteria;

Greater than one weekEverything works perfectly, only problem for me is the laptop gets really hot when starting a game but i guess it wasnt really made to be a gaming laptop so i cant complain. Pen werks awesomely on the screen, batterylife is a bit short sometimes depending what you have running on the screen. Very glad i bought it, would even buy again!

> 3 dayI used to be a build it yourself full size workstation tower kind of person. But with all the working from home over the past several months, Ive gotten used to having a macbook pro plugged into a thunderbolt docking station a with dual monitor, keyboard, mouse and wacom setup. So the idea of having an pre-configured art focused note book is something I was more comfortable with than I would have been before.

> 3 dayBefore buying, i read many reviews about failures, excessive fan noise, and criticisms about the finish!!What can i say about the fan noise? For my taste it is average, only in heavy tasks it increases, but nothing exaggerated to the point of causing anger.The texture of the white paint is amazing!! Does not attract fingerprints!!It has a button on the side, where you can configure your fingerprint and this is very useful.The luminous keys glow amber, together with the color of the equipment makes it very elegant!!The screen is very bright and the colors are very accurate, i dont need more than 65% brightness, even in bright environments in a room.It has 2 high-speed USB outputs, 1 thunderbolt, and a micro SD input.It is very fast and the dedicated graphics only kick in when you need graphics power.Dont forget to update the bios!! I dont know what it fixes, but it sure is important!!Im really satisfied and didnt expect so much performance from a relatively outdated laptop!!

> 3 dayThe only thing I had to do with this laptop was search WHQL windows driver Intel specifically UHD to get da Vinci to stop throwing a warning about incompatible drivers. Latest w10 12-13-2021

> 3 dayI got it because I wanted a laptop that I can use as my main workstation(development) for at least a few years, that can handle gaming decently, and with a touch screen that would make it more usable on the go and test out touch features.

> 3 dayThis laptop has nearly everything a creator could ask for and puts in all in a gorgeous package. Colors beautiful thanks to the Pantone Validated screen and the Ezel screen in my favorite laptop mod in a long time. I cant imagine going back. Also, thanks to circumstances being what they are in the world, Ive learned the camera and mic are great for video calls. Highly recommend. Only cons are the fingerprint sensor can be a bit finicky, but overall works better than the one on my last Asus laptop. And it has some heft to it, but I feel like it makes it feel more premium.

> 3 dayWhile this laptop is marketed to visual artists, its far more suited for the interactive artist. Pen input is 100% not ideal for digital artists, though wavy lines can be mitigated with a Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus pen and the blue nib, its still a strange option for Acer to put in an AES 1.0 panel in an otherwise perfect configuration.
