So, unfortunately the product did arrive damaged. It looks more like a production issue than a shipping issue so you cant really blame it on shipping. The housing was cracked and the frame was coming apart from the screen on both sides. See pic. I gave it 2 stars because it looks like a production issue and is unacceptable for the price.

I am happy with this monitor. I love the curve feature and the size it perfect. I havent messed with the settings yet and still happy with it. Great monitor for the price.

I bought two of these monitors to use together on my desk. Unsuccessfully worked with them quite a while to get the color to match between the two. Could not make that happen. Also, both screens had a constant haze/foggy look masking the color.

Purchased this on black Friday on Amazon for 240. For the price this is an incredible monitor. I have this centered with a 27in on either size that I use for work and when gaming I use this monitor. Daily use for 9+ hours a day M-F with 0 issues in 6mo.

Ive had this for 1 month. Today I turned on my computer and the screen is washed out, can barely make out the desktop. I tried going around the TB dock, tried HDMI, on different inputs. Nothing improved. In fact, when the monitor boots up it shows the Acer logo and its even washed out. I dont play games on it, just work and media. This failure doesnt raise my confidence in Acer high end gear. So I bought the AOC, even though I didnt want the higher resolution. It does seem like a lot of reviews for large curved monitors indicate early problems or QC issues in every brand. But, having 3 pages open at once is fantastic. And without having monitor edges or daisy chaining DP cables to multi monitors from my laptop TB dock.

Probably the buggiest monitor Ive ever had the misfortune of using. The remote control is an absolute abysmal piece of garbage. Pressing one button usually invokes the command of some other random button on the remote. Quality control is obviously horrible because its almost impossible to get it to work right. It fails to do what you pressed > 75% of the time. If you plan on having multiple sources connected to it and want to switch, hold on to your bippy. Changing sources is a little like walking on broken glass, if broken glass required powering on and off the monitor a lot or having to unplug it. The resolution is meh at best. The performance is tolerable for most games, but if you have a high end card and are wanting a display to go with it to showcase those visuals, find literally ANYTHING else. If I were Acer I would be so embarrassed by this garbage that I would bury my head in the sand and go sell fish out of a van.

My first swing at a 144Hz monitor and 1440p and I can say....meh. The monitor looks okay, picture is fine, and the curve is actually pretty nice and comfortable but for the price, its seriously lackluster. when waking it from sleep, it takes longer than the boot time on my PC - which isnt insanely fast by any means. Likely a solid 15sec or so wake time... Getting the config on the unit right was another hassle to get it right where I wanted it. Lastly, the speakers built in are absolutely horrible. Very little volume, and when turned up all the way have a lot of distortion. If not but to have them just in case, I really almost say it would have been better for Acer to not include them at all, spend the money elsewhere. All in all, will it work? yes. Does it look good? yes. Would I buy it again at this price point? no. Too expensive for the gripes I have with it.
