Acer KA272U biipx 27” WQHD 2560 x 1440 IPS Zero-Frame Monitor with 75Hz Refresh Rate and AMD Radeon FreeSync Technology (Display Port & 2 x HDMI 1.4 Ports) Black

Ive been using this monitor at 1440p @ 75mhz with a GTX 1070 for over 4 months without issue. Attaching it to my existing monitor tree was easy. I use this PC for both work and gaming, so the display is used for 12 hours or more in a day on a regular basis and Ive never run into issues.

I would be totally happy with this if it didnt fail to wake up sometimes (maybe 1/10 times), AND the buttons on the side are unresponsive in sleep mode, so you have to resort to pulling the plug. I have gone through several web searches, ACERs own forums, and found things that seemed to work, only to have the problem come back. The lack of repeatability means you are never sure of success, and you cannot be sure that all the things you read actually fixed anything.

These monitors are great, with one small exception. When my computer goes to sleep either one or both of the monitors will NOT wake up when I wake my computer. I cant power it off either, its like its frozen. It has to be unplugged for 5 seconds to fix it. Super annoying, but when they work, they work.

Monitor wont wake from sleep - tried with multiple PCs. This happens so frequently Im throwing it away and buying another monitor. And this has occurred with three different PCs utilizing both HDMI and DP. Many others have complained about the same problem on the forums. I would not buy this monitor.

Good monitor for work and study purposes.

I just received two of these monitors running as a 3rd and 4th monitor. One running on HDMI, the other running on DP connected to a RTX 3080.

Sometimes they will not turn on. It is random which of them decides to do this, and at what time. Sometimes it is one, sometimes it is all three.

This item did not work out of the box - Image did not come on from the PC through either one of its available ports. After consultation with ACER USA technical support it was deemed to be damaged, however servicing was only available to an US address so if you live outside the US you only choice (Thans God) was returning to Amazon

At $250 this monitor is only worth it if stock for others slightly above the price at $300 is unavailable. It took a good amount of time to setup the colors to not look so washed out in comparison to the preview images. It also has a noticeably long boot up time compared to my second monitor, usually about 10-15 seconds at most.

The image in the monitor was very faded, even after using Acers app to reconfigure the settings based on several suggestions found online and in Acers own site.
