> 3 dayAbsolutely amazed at the difference between a 32ich tv and this 27 inch monitor. The 1ms response makes a huge difference in games like PUBG and APEX LEGENDS. the free sync is actually recognized by my xbox one S and im ecstatic at the results! MAKE THE SWITCH! I cannot really compare this monitor with others because this is my first gaming monitor but i absolutely love it to be honest. no problems no noise. the only downside is the EXTREMELY QUIET speakers lol. but if you are a serious gamer you have a head set anyway. right? Movies look wonderful on this monitor as well.

14-04-2025Monitor arrived in the standard monitor box with no additional outer protection. This was fine as it did appeared to have been handled well. Super simple set up. Its not high end, but for the price, its a good deal. Ive never had issues with Acer monitors, and I dont suspect I will with this unit. Im satisfied.

> 3 dayI have had this monitor for two months now. I use it strictly for gaming. I play the new call of duty on it and that’s about it. I’ve played red dead redemption 2 on it a little as well. I bought this more for response time than picture quality since it is a TN. The picture is pretty good but you will need to adjust the settings a lot. There are several reviews on here that give in depth picture adjustments so check those out. I will say their brightness recommendations were not ideal for the FPS game I’ve been playing. So I turned my brightness up significantly to be able to see in certain maps. I use a headset so I can’t comment on the speakers. Overall I am very satisfied with the monitor.

> 3 dayI picked up this monitor for $100 while it was on sale. Its a beautiful picture and perfect refresh rate. The only thing I dont love is the speakers are not very loud at all. I use headphones most of the time so this isnt really an issue for me.

> 3 dayI ordered two of these and one came pretty decent quality and the other came as the same but a different monitor? One is more, how do i word this, bad quality as one is good, one is more stiff and the monitor feels straight as one the monitor starts skinnier at the bottom and as it goes to the top it gets wider, I would say buy this but I dont know the honest review, I mean again one came pretty alright for the price and one just came complete low quality and not that good.

> 3 dayI have an Xbox One S and so does my wife. I bought 2 of these KG271 model monitors. Neither monitor worked with either Xbox. I tried 4 different HDMI cords from the standard cord that comes with the Xbox to a HDMI 3.0 and nothing worked with either Xbox. I even bought a HDMI to DP adapter and tried that and still did not work. I tried to plug my laptop into it via HDMI and it did not work either. If you are buying this monitor to use for a console then DO NOT waste your time. I have it 3 stars because I felt it was fair considering I am getting a refund however my time is being wasted. The monitor came with a DP cord, there should be an option to come with the HDMI or other. The monitor has this function where it auto scans for the input source and since it couldn’t detect the HDMI then it kept going into idle mode. I had to keep turning it on then timing it just before it shut off to switch the input. It was a pain and a huge waste of my time. As I said if you’re buying the KG271 series for a console, look elsewhere! I can’t speak for PC although my laptop did not work via HMDI but does not have a DP.

Greater than one weekThis monitor was a good deal and for the first 6 months it worked flawlessly, then it would not turn off after it was just turned on, so I unplugged it to turn off then it would not turn back on no matter what I did. So lucky me I purchased the Square Trade insurance, you would think that I got lucky, it was only $5 or so. I then filed a claim on the Square Trade website and was truthful when submitting it, then at the end after submitting the claim, the claim was then closed stating I needed to get with the manufacture because it was under a year. So much for great service. To make a long story short, Acer wanted me to pay to send it in for repair, at my cost, and was not satisfied that I had the original box to ship it in, they said that was not good enough, it had to be wrapped in at least 5 of bubble wrap. So if the original box was good enough to ship it to me when purchased why is it not good enough to send to them? Square Trade stated they would pay for the shipping to Acer but I needed to get an estimate, really! In conclusion, I would not buy this monitor or any high dollar electronics from Amazon and get the insurance. If it was purchased at Best Buy or Walmart I would have been home in a hour or so with a new monitor and never went thru this process. It is not worth all the time I spent on hold and chats (4 Hours) and still have to go get estimate, then chat again, then ship. It is just NOT worth it! Edited since this review gets a lot of hits. We just bought a new replacement monitor locally. And we’ve never bought the useless Square Trade insurance again.

> 3 dayA great monitor on my part for gaming but if you have a elevated platform on your desk the monitor will NOT look right. The top will be dark because the monitor is slanted so please before you buy get a monitor stand or wall mount

> 3 dayA relatively inexpensive monitor (especially when on sale) that offers good picture quality and a fast refresh rate of 144hz. Pros: The screen is coated with a matte finish that helps to eliminate reflections 100 x 100 VESA holes for mounting an incorrectly named Black Boost feature (should have been named shadow boost) which increases visibility within shadows Easy to use front-facing controls for the very user-friendly OSD menu 1ms response time low blue light filter Cons: Tilt-only, No rotation or height adjustment TN panel looks good when sitting in front of it but viewing angles are limited. Also, if you plan on using this monitor for photo editing or creation using tools like Photoshop, I would recommend a comparable IPS display instead. TN panels suffer from color shifting which means the colors arent always uniform depending on the angle you are viewing. This is normal for TN panels and shouldnt affect gaming. 4-watt speakers are a joke and sound horrible. Free-sync only Overall, a great monitor especially for the price that allows for faster refresh rate gaming with good contrast that wont break your budget.

> 3 dayThis is a great monitor for the price. Its 1920x1080 with up to a 75hz refresh rate if you overclock it. Unfortunately I have a dead pixel already, less than four months after purchasing. Acers warranty will only replace the monitor if it has more than 4 degraded pixels per one million pixels. Since this is a 1920x1080 monitor, it consists of a total of 2,073,600 pixels. Which means I would need to have a total of 9 pixels degraded before Acer will even look at it. Very disappointing. I guess Ill have to try and fix the pixels myself and hope I dont create anymore degraded pixels in the process.
