> 24 hourSuch a nice little rig. We dont really need the high refresh rate panel, but the MODERN Ryzen 7 and brand-new RTX 4050 are greatly appreciated. With laptops we prefer to not replace them often since they only do menial work, and this is replacing an old Lenovo with a 4th gen i7. It has been hard finding a reasonably priced 17 inch laptop with worthwhile specs and so far this is handling the job great. I have heard negative things about the Nitro line, but so far I have nothing negative to report. Havent tested it for gaming since it wont be used for that, but I may give it a try eventually in Cyberpunk to see how well the 4050 handle the frame-generation tech.

> 24 hourIve had this laptop for a little over a month now, and it runs really well. Fans are a little loud and I could see scenarios where it could get a little hot if it cant ventilate effectively. It handles virtually everything Ive thrown at it from office work, college stuff, to high end games on max settings.

> 24 hourI bought this as a replacement for my Acer Nitro 17 (2016) model. I like this laptop a lot! The charging and HDMI ports in the back are a nice touch. The screen looks great, and the customizable RGB keyboard is fun. I bought this for school work/gaming and I know I wont have an issue doing either with it. Also another nice surprise was how much tension the usb ports had on them. Ive never owned a device that holds onto thumb drives and cables like this thing does! No worries about something coming unplugged accidently.

> 24 hourI tend to stay with laptops that you can take appart easily. This way you can do maintenance on it, or do upgrades. This laptop is just what I wanted a good upgrade from my Predior Helios 300 bought 4 years ago. I definately enjoy the Acer brand always a good buy.

> 24 hourAs a beginner gamer, I dont know all the details that makes a gaming computer good. Gaming on this device is a very distinct experience compared to regular PCs and laptops. From what Ive noticed there is no lag on most games, it handles graphics intensive games well, and the hard drive size makes it easy to download multiple games without running out of space. Compared to my everyday laptop (ASUS Chromebook), this handles games without struggling, lagging, or just outright crashing. Ive used this laptop to play most of the mainstream games (COD, Apex Legends, Destiny, etc) and had a great experience. The performance maintained the same smoothness even with adding a controller.

> 24 hourFrequent Blue Screen Of Death. When I first purchased it, would happen perhaps once a week. After owning it 1 year, it now happens twice a day. BSOD doesnt appear to be related to high computer usage as it is just as likely to happen when idle or watching a YouTube video as it is while playing a game. Never had this problem with any other computer I have owned.

> 24 hourBeautiful, large laptop. Was so excited. Charged it up, powered it on and within the first ten minutes or less, it restarted without prompting. Thankfully I wasnt working on anything that needed saving. I attempted to download Steam and run a game. Within another ten minutes it restarted again from it obviously powering off without any prompting. Cant use a gaming laptop if you cant even work on Microsoft Word or a video game without worrying its going to shut down immediately. In the three hours I owned it, it powered down six more times. I packed it back up and called Amazon, which was another nightmare. They wanted to give me the run around about UPS pickup rather than shipping from store. I have a full time job and live alone. There is no one to be there to meet at a time that I couldnt even schedule. Id be at the mercy of UPS on when they wanted to arrive. I had it packed up and ready to ship. Finally after a very frustrating few phone calls between Amazon and UPS they sent me the shipping label as they should have done all along . Now Im sitting here fearful that theyre going to try to pull some other stunt on Amazons end not to refund me almost $1200 of my hard earned dollars for this junk that doesnt even work. Buy your technology from another source than Amazon, folks. This has been and continues to be a nightmare.
